World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) is celebrated annually from August 1-7 and highlights the importance of breastfeeding and support for mothers globally. Since 2016, WBW has aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. This year's theme, Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All, focuses on ensuring every mother has the resources needed for successful breastfeeding, addressing barriers many face.
